Under the leadership of Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, Steely Dan released 7 albums between 1972 and 1980. "Countdown to Ecstasy" is the band's second album from 1973, containing such well-known tracks as "Bodhisattva", "Show Biz Kids" and "My Old School". Countdown To Ecstasy was also the record on which Fagen became the lead singer of Steely Dan.
