Hildur Guðnadóttir: This will be us (LP)

Twenty years after her debut album “Mount A,” Hildur Guðnadóttir looks back on the past in her new orchestral album. The star composer and performer is accompanied on the album by Robert Ames and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. Together, they have recorded orchestral arrangements of pieces from three of Guðnadóttir’s early albums, as well as two brand-new compositions. The cover was designed by the renowned Icelandic-Danish artist Ólafur Elíasson, and the liner notes were written by Hildur herself and filmmaker Sarah Polley.
