The legendary progressive rock band YES is back with its 24th studio album, *Aurora*. When YES first began sketching out ideas for what would become the album *Aurora*, the process was relaxed and exploratory. At the beginning, there was no preconceived concept, just a collection of musical fragments that gradually came together and took shape. Among these early sketches was a piece titled “Aurora,” and it quickly became clear that this name held a certain significance. It evoked light, a new beginning, and a sense of vastness—qualities that resonated deeply with the band. Steve Howe explains: “Working on this album was a joy—an opportunity to play, experiment, and pour everything into the music. It’s always been about collaboration; someone might write a song, but it’s only when everyone contributes that it truly becomes a Yes song. We’re not trying to imitate the past; we’re carrying on the spirit of Yes and transforming it into something new.” With their 24th studio album, Yes demonstrate not only longevity but also an enduring curiosity, a desire to continue exploring, refining, and rediscovering their creative power time and again. “Aurora” is available as a limited-edition deluxe set featuring a 180g light green double LP + 2 CDs + Blu-ray, an art book, and a poster, as well as a limited-edition deluxe set featuring 2 CDs + Blu-ray and an art book.
