Together with pianist Martha Argerich, Claudio Abbado conducted Mozart's Piano Concertos in C major (K. 503) and D minor (K. 466) at the Lucerne Festival in March and June 2013. Abbado performed live once again in 2013 at the renowned Lucerne Festival, which he has helped shape like no other. The Mozart piano concertos in C major (K. 503) and D minor (K. 466), performed in Lucerne in March and June of last year together with pianist Martha Argerich, were euphorically acclaimed by the audience and the international press. The release of these two live recordings now becomes a posthumous tribute to the great conductor.
