The Rolling Stones once again reach into the archives - and release the live album Licked Live in NYC in restored and remastered version with four unreleased bonus tracks. The Stones in New York City - the great British band and the great U.S. metropolis fit together quite beautifully. The recording Licked Live in NYC proves this once again impressively. The first time the Stones played in the Big Apple was in 1963 - countless times followed. In January 2003, on the occasion of their 40th anniversary, they once again came to the metropolis and played a terrific concert. Of course not just anywhere, but in Madison Square Garden, one of the most famous concert venues in the world. "New York City, top of the world," Mick Jagger said after a version of If You Can't Rock Me. Well, New York could definitely rock.
