This 5-LP + 7"-single special edition super deluxe box set includes the new stereo mix created using the half-speed mastering process, a 26-track collection of session recordings, including early versions of songs that deepen and expand the album’s story, spread across two LPs mastered using the half-speed process, the original mono album, the original Capitol U.S. album, and a 7" single of the non-album single. Each LP is pressed on 180g black vinyl, housed in poly-lined inner sleeves within individual album sleeves, complemented by an 88-page hardcover book featuring a foreword by John Lennon, an introduction by Paul McCartney, photos, as well as detailed background information on the album and track notes—all packaged together in a 12"-slipcase.
