To mark the 50th anniversary, "The First Fifty Years: Songs Of Boomtown Glory" will be released on a 24-track 2LP and a 27-track 2CD album. Both showcase the best of the Boomtown Rats - all songs were selected by the band themselves - from their first single "Lookin' After No 1" to their last release "There's No Tomorrow Like Today" from 2023. "The First Fifty Years: Songs Of Boomtown Glory" is a fantastic tribute to one of the most unique and distinctive bands of all time who, as Bob Geldof regularly proclaims, "are the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world... from Dún Laoghaire!"
