In 2002, the Verve label had a brilliant idea that still has an impact today: For the first installment of the "Verve Remixed" series, they invited top DJs and producers to turn some of the most exciting originals by the label's famous jazz artists into danceable and chill remixes. The series became a huge success, bringing classic jazz recordings to a new generation of listeners. The episodes of the series have also long been extremely popular on digital platforms.
For the first time in 20 years, the first episode of the series is now being re-released on vinyl, this time as a limited double edition on orange and yellow vinyl.
