Caetano Veloso & Gal Costa: Domingo (180g) (LP)

The two Bahian singing stars began their recording careers in 1965 with the release of several separate singles. Two years later, they were given the chance to record their first album "Domingo" together for Philips. Although the bossa nova influence is noticeable in the sound and performances of Gal Costa and Caetano Veloso - both were fans of João Gilberto - the album's repertoire came from composers of a new generation. The album, which launched the careers of two of the MPB's biggest stars, is now being reissued on black vinyl.
