Classics of choral music for Advent and the Christmas season sung by the WDR Radio Chorus and the WDR Childrens Chorus this is an experience of a special kind since these professional singers not only present festive Christmas songs but also recordings of their best-known flash mobs from the social media. For example, members of the WDR Radio Chorus surprised passersby at the Cologne Central Train Station and Cologne-Bonn Airport with Christmas classics such as the British Christmas carols 'Ding Dong! Merrily on High', 'O Come All Ye Faithful', and 'Deck the Hall(s)'. On this Christmas CD the chorus sings in several languages and under its director Stefan Parkman takes us on a musical journey through Sweden, Great Britain, and Germany.
