Fleetwood Mac's run of five consecutive multi-platinum albums began in the 1970s and continued in 1982 with *Mirage*. In the summer of 1982, *Mirage* reached the top of the album charts and added to the band’s already impressive catalog of hits. “Mirage” was originally released on June 18, 1982. It is the last of a total of three albums by the British-American band to reach number one on the U.S. album charts. Among the singles released from the album and its biggest hits are the songs “Hold Me,” “Gypsy,” “Love in Store,” “Oh Diane,” and “Can’t Go Back.”
