The Undertones around singer Feargal Sharkey were founded in 1975 in Derry, Northern Ireland, and released their second album "Hypnotized" in 1980, which reached number 6 in the British charts. The themes echo those of their debut, focusing on teenage angst, cockiness and heartbreak. However, "Hypnotized" is significantly more sophisticated than its predecessor, both lyrically and musically. The album contains 14 punky pop classics with a slightly harder edge than the groundbreaking debut. Repressed for the first time on red vinyl.
This is a CD reissue of The Undertones' second album. Includes their hits "My Perfect Cousin" and "Wednesday Week".
