Neha!: Svetu

"Svetu" is the official debut album by the six Slovak singers of Neha! Neha! (Tenderness) is more than just a vocal ensemble—it’s a vibrant portrait of friendship, courage, and artistic freedom. Six women, each unique, profound, and complex, unite their voices into a polyphonic tapestry of sound that transcends boundaries and touches hearts. The group was formed in Slovakia in 2020, when the singers found each other during challenging times and created a place of safety, joy, and continuous artistic growth within their community. Neha! was founded by Zuzana Vranka Žiaková, who recognized in each member the potential for an extraordinary project. Diversity, unconventionality, dedication, and courage shape both the music and the personality of each singer. Their concerts are always experimental and improvisational, engaging in a dialogue with the audience. They open up spaces where listeners become part of the creative process. “Svetu” brings together ten traditional songs from six countries and reflects the group’s journey. The polyphonic voices blend with the occasional instruments of guest musicians to create an intense listening experience full of melancholy, passion, and rhythmic vitality.
