Haydn: String Quartet

Haydn from an unusual perspective The young delian::quartet always surprises its audience with unusual concepts and program ideas. A trademark has become the inclusion of guest musicians, who expand the pure quartet repertoire with delightful variations and repertoire discoveries. A real rarity is the Concerto for Violin (Piano) and Strings, which should be an exciting discovery for many classical music lovers, here also especially due to the soloist cast with Andreas Frölich and the great violin individualist Gilles Apap. The charm of the intimate chamber instrumentation is also revealed in the recording of the Concerto for Piano and Strings Hob. XVIII: 4, whose original choral scoring is reduced here to the four quartet parts.
