2009 release, Cale's first solo CD of new material in nearly five years. Roll On follows Cale's Grammy-winning, gold-certified 2006 album with Eric Clapton, The Road to Escondido. Speaking of Clapton, the Guitar God is featured, in all his blazing glory, on Roll On's title track. Cale wrote and produced all 12 songs on the album.
