Laibach: Musick (Limited Edition) (Neon Pink Vinyl) (LP)

The legendary Slovenian group's first studio album since "Spectre" (2014), "Musick" is an intense pop album, unmistakably Laibach. This album simultaneously celebrates and criticizes the current era of distorted reality and AI imitation. The title reflects a duality: the oversaturation of music, the "music fatigue" in a time when over 100,000 new, often AI-generated tracks are uploaded daily, making us question reality; and a "pathological devotion" that continues to drive the band. The maximalist creation process in their Ljubljana studio involved analog synthesizers, toys, computers with sound apps and collaborations with artists such as Donna Marina Mårtensson and Richard X. They were influenced by K-Pop, J-Pop and Eurodance of the 90s, but emphasized that their "primary influence and point of reference remains Ljubljana itself".
