"In the past six months, The Weeknd has become one of pop's most reliable hitmakers." - that's how the New York Times recently paid tribute to pop phenomenon The Weeknd. Behind the name is 25-year-old Canadian Abel Tesfaye, who is already being hailed as the musical guiding light of a new RnB generation. The Weeknd celebrated his breakthrough with the track "Earned It" from the soundtrack to 50 Shades of Grey (number 3 on the US charts). His new album with the current single "Can't Feel My Face" will be released this fall.
