Popis
First steps: The Rolling Stones at the beginning of their career.
With "On Air", The Rolling Stones present a very special album at the end of the year: these are rare radio and TV recordings from the early days of the band, a selection of BBC session recordings from 1963 to 1965, as well as from shows like "Saturday Club", "Top Gear", "Rhythm and Blues" and "The Joe Loss Pop Show".
A total of 18 songs have made it into the collection, including eight previously unreleased tracks. Included are some Stones originals as well as a few cover songs, for example by Chuck Berry, Tommy Tucker, Buster Brown and Bo Diddley.
For "On Air" all tracks were remixed at London's legendary Abbey Road Studios, using a new process called "Demix" instead of the traditional "Multi Track Remix Master" process.
"On Air" is available as a standard CD and deluxe double CD in digipak, as a double LP and exclusively at jpc as a yellow double LP. Of course, only while stocks last.
A musical retrospective of the extra class: "On Air" gathers many first steps of the Rolling Stones on one album.
