"Gravity" is the sixth studio record, the successor to their number one album "Venom" from 2015. After Jamie Mathias joined the band three years ago as bassist and background singer, another new addition followed in 2017: Jason Bowld replaced Michael Thomas on drums. Matthew Tuck (vocals, guitar) and Michael Paget (guitar, background vocals) complete the lineup as before. With the personnel change, the British metalcore combo has also developed musically. The usual hard metal riffs are joined on "Gravity" by synthesizers, which really create atmospheric soundscapes. But this development does not seem strange at all. On the contrary, it makes Bullet For My Valentine once again one of the most innovative and exciting bands of their genre.
