With "In The Midst Of Beauty" Michael Schenker finds back to his old strength. The result is a fine mixture that extends over the entire album and in places even reminds of Deep Purple or Rainbow. A healthy portion of hardness and lots of soulful melodies characterize his new CD. With the "legend" Gary Barden, the first MSG singer is again represented on "In The Midst Of Beauty". Other internationally known musicians accompany Michael on his long-awaited comeback. So the keyboards are served by none other than Don Airey (Deep Purple). Neil Murray (Whitesnake) plucks the thick strings of the bass and the drums are handled by "Toto" Simon Phillips.
