In this edition of Liszt's piano works, pianist Martin Cousin devotes himself to a number of transcriptions from operatic works. In addition to popular pieces such as Wagner's Lohengrin or Meyerbeer's Huguenots, there are also some rarities and (largely) unknown pieces from the world of opera, which Franz Liszt himself repeatedly performed in the piano version at his concerts.
