Popis
"Joe's Garage" from 1979 takes a place of honor in Frank Zappa's discography. The three-part satirical rock opera is a masterpiece among the musical conceptual works of the musical Lyrically, it is Zappa's most imaginative and powerful most imaginative and strongest political statement of the of the 1970s Concisely Zappa has integrated old guitar solos into the studio recordings on "Joe's Garage", for example the one from "Inca Roads" on "Toad-O-Line". The master also quotes himself in other ways (to the amusement of his fans): "Lucille Has Messed My Mind Up" appeared in 1970 on an album of the same name produced by him and his bassist Jeff Simmons. The crude "Stick It Out" is based on the Mothers' "Sofa" interlude, also from the early 1970s; the song has partly German lyrics. Zappa performs a new guitar solo - and one of the best of his overall career at that - on "Watermelon in Easter Hay."
