Bebo & Cigala: Lagrimas Negras

BEBO VALDES and DIEGO EL CIGALA have recorded a groundbreaking album with "Lágrimas Negras" (Black Tears). It combines two musical traditions and two generations in a magical way. The 85-year-old Cuban pianist and orchestral arranger BEBO VALDES incorporates Caribbean rhythms and song structures on "Lágrimas Negras", while DIEGO EL CIGALA, who grew up in the Madrid flamenco and jazz scene in his mid-thirties, contributes Spanish traditions. Guests such as Caetano Veloso and Paquito D'Rivera are also involved in making "Lagrimas Negras" a masterpiece.
