Theo Croker: Star Nation People (LP)

"Star People Nation" is a project that Theo Croker himself describes as an intimate exploration of the "everyday rituals of being black". A translation of his personal, spiritual and creative experiences, the album is a self-reflective collection of powerful, passionate and boundary-breaking compositions that speak to our larger, shared human existence. The album features jazz pianist ELEW on "The Messenger," a gorgeous combination of smoky blues piano and traditional swing rhythm that Croker masters. "Star People Nation" is available in a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on translucent blue vinyl. The vinyl packaging includes a printed inner sleeve and a 4-page booklet with lyrics and pictures.
