Flower Kings: Hope (CD+BLURAY AUDIO)

After more than three decades of an extraordinary career, Swedish progressive rock pioneers The Flower Kings return with “HOPE”—their 18th studio album and one of the most ambitious works of their legendary career. The album, which combines sophisticated musicality with fearless creativity, is both a tribute to the band’s legacy and a bold leap forward that captures the grandiose, cinematic scope and spirit of adventure that have made them one of progressive rock’s most beloved bands. “HOPE” offers a rich collection of expansive compositions, including the epic, 30-minute centerpiece “The Gods of Rome.” The album explores themes such as power, conflict, human ambition, and the state of the modern world, reflecting an era marked by division and dwindling compassion, yet ultimately conveying a message of optimism, compassion, and renewal. Rather than chasing contemporary trends, The Flower Kings remain true to the organic, melodic sound that has defined them throughout their career. The result is a captivating listening experience filled with soaring melodies, virtuosic performances, lush arrangements, and moments of genuine emotional depth. “HOPE” will be available as a limited-edition CD+Blu-ray digipack featuring Dolby Atmos and 5.1 surround sound mixes by Rich Mouser, as well as 24-bit stereo mixes. The album will also be available as a standard CD in a jewel case and as a gatefold double LP.
