Popis
The ensemble Les Amis de Philippe concentrates mainly on Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and his time. On this new release, these "early music specialists" dedicate themselves this time to the trio sonatas for flute (violin) and b. c. in a smaller ensemble. The earlier sonatas Wq 144-147, composed at the beginning of 1730, were revised once again by CPE Bach in the 1740s - at this time he was already working as a chamber harpsichordist in the service of Frederick the Great in Berlin. Apparently, Bach's son destroyed his original versions and made these revisions in order to blur any strong reminiscences of his father's style. In the sonata Wq 148 from 1735, he already speaks a more mature and personal musical language and in the 3 Berlin trio sonatas Wq 149-151 from 1745/47, CPE Bach's unmistakable musical language, so characteristic of the age of sensibility, is fully developed. Manfredo Zimmermann (flute), Manfredo Kraemer (violin), Monika Schwamberger (violoncello) and the founder and director of the ensemble Les Amis de Philippe, Ludger Rémy, on harpsichord, dedicate themselves to these works on 2 CDs.
