Laura Pausini: Laura Live World Tour '09 (CD + DVD)

Over 3000 people celebrated the wonderful Laura Pausini at her only German concert in Dortmund / Oberhausen last May, where she presented her latest successful album "Primavera In Anticipo". A more than deserved triumph for Italy's biggest star at the moment, especially as the album went straight to number 1 in the charts in Italy (where it remained for 9 weeks) and also entered the charts in Germany. The album's title single "Primavera in Anticipo" (It's My Song), recorded with James Blunt, brightened up our spring and also secured a place in the German Top 20 at #19. Now the follow-up to the extremely successful tour is being released in the form of a CD/DVD with the simple and fitting title "Laura Live - World Tour 09". Anyone who was lucky enough to experience Laura Pausini at the concert will know the energy and passion with which the singer knows how to transform the stage and her audience into a feast of emotions. And if you couldn't be there, you shouldn't miss out on bringing the best moments of the tour into your own home. Because "Laura Live - World Tour 09" offers far more than "just" a concert recording, it provides an excellent cross-section of Pausini's work and live highlights. The CD and DVD each contain 18 tracks, with the DVD also including an extensive "Special Features" section containing four video clips, two "Making Ofs", a "Behind The Scenes" and other extra material, such as a duet with Fabrizio Pausini and a tribute to Michael Jackson. The live recordings come from Helsinki, Milan, Florence, Verona, Barletta, Teramo, Bergamo, Palermo, Rome, Malta, Brussels, Cagliari, Naples, Monza, Barcelona and New York, covering many of the stops Laura Pausini visited on this tour. The audio recording on the CD and the live films on the DVD differ from each other in important ways. The CD contains two brand new studio recordings, "Con La Musica Alla Radio" and "Non Sono Lei", and the previously unreleased live track "Casoma", which was recorded during the sound check. The DVD features a rock medley from Locarno and a pop medley from Barcelona, as well as another medley from Bergamo, for which Gianluca Grignani joined the band on stage.
