Johnny Cash's second album, originally released by Sun Records in 1958, was a terrific success, its outgoing singles "I Walk The Line," "Guess Things Happen That Way" and "Ballad Of A Teenage Queen" climbing to the top of the charts at lightning speed and earning Cash a reputation as one of the country's greatest songwriters and artists. The 'Man In Black' is accompanied by Luther Perkins and Marshall Grant, then known as The Tennessee Two. The album was produced by Sun Records founder Sam Phillips, along with Jack Clement.
