Of course you can call me a classical cellist, and as such I have done a lot: chamber music, solo recitals, concerts with orchestra and I have also gained experience as an orchestral musician. All of that was going to go into this album, because here I was an orchestral cellist, a soloist, and a chamber musician. Thanks to the recording technology, I could actually be everything at the same time!"
