Two years after the release of their third album "Dreamland", the British band Glass Animals will release "Dreamland: Real Life Edition" on August 5, a reissue of the album as a deluxe CD and as a "Glow In The Dark" vinyl with the original track listing. The deluxe CD features 25 tracks and includes numerous remixes, acoustic versions and bonus tracks as well as collaborations with Arlo Parks, Denzel Curry, Albert Hammond Jr, Bree Runway and Diplo. Included, of course, is their biggest hit to date, "Heat Waves," with which the band has made history for 2 years and is still making it: Worldwide over 45 platinum awards (Germany double platinum), No. 2 in the German singles charts, No. 1 in the US charts (there also the most successful song by a British band since "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls), nominations at all awards (including Grammy nomination as "Best New Artist" and a Brit Award nomination as "Song Of The Year" and "Best Rock / Alternative Act") and praise without end. The British Rolling Stone called the Glass Animals, formed in 2010 in Oxford, "currently the biggest band in America", the NME "one of the biggest British bands in the world". Singer Dave Bayley on the album re-launch: "Back in 2020 we had this delicately constructed, intricate plan to launch Dreamland with a bunch of special shows, signings and real-life events. Then... we got spanked by the pandemic and we had to tear our plan in half. I was pretty damn sad for a bit, but eventually the support from everyone on the web was so great that it pulled me out of my mind-hole and I realised we could make a new plan... One based on the magnificent wonder that is the internet. We did that and it was absolutely wicked, but I still feel like we missed out on the IRL stuff. So, we thought we'd just have another go of it. This is our chance to do some of the things that were in our original plan, for the fans who have been there with us every step of the way."
