Shakira releases her long-awaited new studio album "La Mujeres Ya No Lloran". It is her first album in seven years and is an impressive work that reflects Shakira's resilience and strength. All the songs on the album are a representation of the power of music to transform even the most difficult experiences in life into something worthwhile. About the album, the artist herself says: "The process of creating this album had a special effect on me. Writing each song rebuilt me. Singing each song turned my tears into diamonds, turned my vulnerability into strength. [...] I created the album for and with all the 'She Wolves' in my world. All those who were there for me in the most difficult times." The title of the new album could not reflect this journey better and is therefore an important message to the world. The album includes 16 tracks, 8 new ones, plus a remix and 7 previously released hit singles, including "Music Sessions Vol. 53" with Bizarrap, "TQG" with Karol G, "Te Felicito" with Rauw Alejandro, "Copa Vacía" with Manuel Turizo and more. The 7 tracks already released have already collected over 3.7 billion streams worldwide. Shakira and Bizarrap also won the categories "Song of the Year" and "Best Pop Song" at the Latin GRAMMY® Awards 2023 with their joint track. Shakira has sold over 95 million records worldwide and won numerous awards, including three GRAMMYs®, twelve Latin GRAMMYs® and several World Music Awards, American Music Awards and Billboard Music Awards, to name but a few. She is the most viewed female artist and one of the top 5 artists overall of all time on YouTube with over 20 billion cumulative views and the most streamed female Latin artist of all time on Spotify. In September 2023, Shakira received the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards in recognition of her achievement in music videos over the past years and decades. Her success will undoubtedly continue with the release of her new album, as her vulnerability, confidence and passion highlight both her personal challenges and triumphs.
