Roger Waters is a founding member and former mastermind of rock legends Pink Floyd, with whom he recorded cult longplays like "The Wall," "Wish You Were Here," "Animals" and "Dark Side Of The Moon." The album "Amused To Death" is his third solo work from 1992. He tinkered around on it for a total of three years, supported by prominent colleagues such as Jeff Beck, Rita Coolidge, Don Henley, Steve Lukather, Andy Fairweather-Low and Jeff Porcaro. And the result was worth listening to: because even after his departure from Pink Floyd, Waters proved that he was far from running out of ideas. "Amused To Death" is rightly seen by many as a worthy successor to "The Wall".
